Does your home need a rewire?
Signs a home may need rewiring include fuses that trip often, scorched or discoloured sockets, an old fuse box with rewireable fuses rather than modern breakers, cloth or rubber-insulated cabling, and a property that hasn't been rewired in 25–30 years. If you're renovating or extending, it's usually the ideal time.
We assess honestly — sometimes a partial rewire or a consumer unit upgrade is all that's needed, and we'll say so rather than push a full rewire you don't need.
